This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Puck Recruiter mobile application, website (puckrecruiter.com), and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

We comply with: PIPEDA (Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), COPPA (U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act for users under 13), CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation), and Apple App Store & Google Play privacy guidelines.

  • Name, email address, date of birth, and account credentials
  • Athlete profile information (sport, position, stats, highlights, photos, and videos)
  • Payment information (processed securely through third-party processors)
  • Communications you send us (support requests, feedback)

  • Device identifiers, IP address, and operating system
  • App usage data, session duration, and feature interactions
  • Location data (only if you grant permission)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for transaction verification

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Puck Recruiter serves hockey athletes of all ages, including minors. We take children's privacy extremely seriously.

  • Users under 13: Users under 13 may use the Platform only with verifiable parental consent. We require this consent before collecting personal information, in accordance with COPPA.
  • Users 13-17: Parental or guardian consent is required for purchases. Coaches, scouts, and administrators may view profiles only within the Platform's controlled environment.
  • We do not sell personal information of minors.
  • We do not display targeted advertising to users under 18.
  • Parents or guardians may request review, deletion, or restriction of their child's data by contacting us at privacy@drafthouselabs.com.

  • To create and manage your account and athlete profile
  • To connect athletes with scouts, coaches, and teams

6. SMS / Text Messaging

We collect your mobile number only when you opt in to receive text messages from Puck Recruiter. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

7. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with: service providers (bound by confidentiality), other users (only public profile info you choose to share), law enforcement (when required by law), and in business transfers (with notice to you).

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion at any time. Certain data may be retained longer where required by law.

9. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
